Like many people, I know what it’s like to feel under constant pressure. I spent years in the finance world, juggling deadlines, and performance expectations. I was subsequently diagnosed with bipolar disorder that made finding daily balance hard to find.

I stepped away left and travelled to Northeast Thailand, where I found structure, discipline and community through Muay Thai. For the first time in years, I felt grounded and it marked the start of a much bigger shift.

That experience pushed me into a deeper exploration of energy, mood and balance - through business, teaching, training and a long study of how the body fuels itself. What became clear is that connection is central: the connection between water quality, glucose, the gut and the mind. Clean hydration and the right kind of sugar are not threats; they are fundamental to how we function.

I also saw firsthand how much confusion exists around “healthy” products, especially for women. Too many drinks, sweeteners, cosmetics and even water sources are filled with unnecessary additives, chemicals and contaminants, all marketed as “wellness”.
